I truly believe that Dr. Venkata and the Heart Institute of East Texas are the reason I am alive today. Not only is he an expert with cardiovascular issues, he is also a very nice man with pleasant bedside manners. The nursing and office staff are caring and a joy to deal with. If I could give them more than five stars I WOULD. I highly recommend The Heart Institute of East Texas. And just FYI, the doctors at the Institute do get called away to perform emergency life saving procedures. When this happens yes, there will be some delays for regular patient visits. While I know this can be upsetting, the knowledge that they are working frantically to save a life makes waiting in a comfortable chair in an climate controlled office not all that bad, and something I am happy to do. Others should be as well, and so any complaints you read about waiting should be taken with a grain of salt.

Dr. George Vettiankal was so great! I have personally been a nurse for 15 years and I know a bad doctor and a good doctor when I meet them. Dr. Vettiankal is a great doctor! He truly cared about my health and really listened to what I had to say and also conducted a very thorough exam. Also, his nursing staff and the office staff are amazing!! I have already recommended him and the office several times and will continue to do so. Thank you Dr. Vettiankal and your team!

February 2020, my husband had a heart attack and was rushed to the Emergency Room. Dr. George Vettiankal of the Heart Institute of East Texas, was able to insert a stent which saved his life. We have continued to see Dr. Vettiankal. He is a very compassionate professional. He listens to our questions, and answers them thoroughly. Dr. Vettiankal, Liz and the rest of his staff make a great team.

The Team at 310 Gaslight; Dr's Venkata, Manda and Khan have all helped me immensely through this process of stints and heart failure. The staff at their office are also very caring and kind. The Team at rehab have been wonderful and Dr Bachireddy and the Nurses and staff at the heart institute on gaslight are all so caring. They all watch over me which gives me confidence to continue on a road to better health! They are a gift from God!

Dr. Vettiankal is an amazing doctor. He went above and beyond during my surgery and the treatment following. I would reamend to anyone looking for a doctor that shows so much care and consideration for their patients. Extremely great bedside manners!

Dr. Vettiankal has always been so patient concerning the explanation of medical terms and pertinent instructions for treatments. He explains everything to ensure I understand how to ensure a healthy future. Thank you for you kindness and professional attitude. And may I add his assistant, Liz, was so friendly and easy to talk to. Both her and the doctor were very knowledgeable concerning all my inquiries concerning my health. Thanks to both !!

Dr Bachireddy has been my Doctor for 21 years, he is by far the best .He has seen me through two major events. If not for him I would not be around today
