Vitaly Buza, MD, PhD

Dr. Vitaly Buza specializes in cardiovascular computed tomography, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, general cardiology, and internal medicine. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography, and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Buza completed his medical education at Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University in Moscow from 1996 to 2003. He then completed his cardiology residency at the National Medical Research Center of Cardiology in Moscow from 2003 to 2005. He later completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Catholic Health/Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, New York, from 2015 to 2018, followed by a fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School Cardiovascular Fellowship Program from 2018 to 2021.

His hospital and clinical experience includes the National Medical Research Center for Cardiology in Moscow from 2005 to 2015, Mercy Hospital of Buffalo/Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, New York, from 2015 to 2018, University Hospital in Newark, Hackensack Hospital, and East Orange VA Medical Center in New Jersey from 2018 to 2021, and Great Plains Health Heart Institute in Nebraska from 2021 to 2026.
